Is our baby record book right for you?

There are a range of different baby record books on the market, so how do you know if our book is right for you? I’ve put together 6 points to help capture the overall vibe of This is Your Story. If you read through these points and feel like I’m really speaking to you, then I think you’ve found the perfect match.

1. You don’t like cutesy baby stuff.

Having a baby doesn’t mean you suddenly need to inject an abundance of sweet little animals, soft pinks and baby blues into your life. It’s just not for everyone and that’s ok. Our baby record book is a modern, design-led product with a bright, colourful cover and simple, clean pages inside. Not a fluffy teddy bear in sight.

2. You want plenty of space for photographs.

You know all too well that you’ll get snap happy during little Oscar’s first bath and you don’t want to be limited to just 1 bath time photograph inside your baby book. No problem, pop in an extra photo page and stick in as many as you like... they’re all gorgeous!

3. You don’t want to be limited to a basic question and answer format.

You can’t possibly sum up leaving the hospital for the first time with your brand new tiny human in just one line. There’s no way. Our book is carefully designed to allow plenty of space to let your thoughts flow, whilst still providing enough prompts along the way to keep you on track. We want you to record your memories, your way.

4. Blank pages make you feel uncomfortable.

There’s something unnerving about blank pages in amongst pages full of notes and photographs. It really ruins the flow, don’t you think? Well, don’t panic. If there’s pages inside your baby book that you don’t need, just whip them out and they will haunt you no more!

5. You want to create something REAL.

Striving for perfection is simply not doable and with a newborn in one arm and a cupcake in the other, you’re not about to start trying now. This book is not a battle for perfection. It should be full of scribbles, notes, drawings, memories and photographs… along with tea stains, dinner splashes and everything else that comes with the chaos of parenthood (drops of gin, for example).

6. You value high quality and carefully designed products.

This is an investment, an important piece of history that you will pass down to your child, so you’re not just looking for the cheapest baby record book you can find. You want to find THE baby record book, the one that makes your heart sing as you stroke the pages with joy.
