The new Childhood Record Book is launching Spring 2023

Are your children growing up too fast? Do you wish you could press pause for a while? Me too! This journey called motherhood is going way too fast and my children are changing all the time. Just this morning my 4 year old son asked me to tie his hair up for school... his hair that is no more than 2 inches long. I obliged of course, with a full heart that wished he would stay 4 for a little bit longer.

That’s exactly why I’ve designed a brand new book, aimed at capturing all of these beautiful moments and all of the magical things that make your child who they are. It will give you an opportunity to press pause every year and capture a moment in time, before it’s gone again.

What’s a childhood record book?

Similar to our luxury baby record book, the childhood record book will be a place to write, record and remember. Except the childhood book is for children aged 1-16 and it an be started at any time. Inside the book you will be able to press pause every year and capture a snapshot of what your child is like at that time. You can add photographs, answer questions, complete a little questionnaire, add drawings, writing, document their height and weight and much more. Each section is designed for that specific age and in such a way that it captures as much of their personality as possible.

We’ve kept it really easy too, so it won’t take you too long to do each year and it’s designed in such a way that you can write inside the book or your child can. It’s a ring binder design too, so you can add in extra drawings, photographs or other pages if you want to. It’s totally flexible and can grow with your child. The end result will be a ring binder full of memories, joy and happiness. An heirloom that you and your child with treasure forever.

What will be inside the book?

For each year there will be 4 pages. There will be space for a photograph, documenting likes and dislikes, their favourite things and how much they’ve grown. You can add drawings and hand writing and there will be a fun questionnaire for you (or your child) to answer. You can also add in extra bits if you choose to, thanks to the ring binder design. We will also be launching a range of add on page packs that you can order and add into your book if you wish. These will include school pages, holiday pages, birthday pages and Christmas pages.

What if my child is already 8 years old?

Perfect. This book is still for you. You might feel like you needed to have started it when they were younger, but that’s not the case. Your child is only 8, they still have so much growing and changing to do. In a few years time, 8 year old them will be a distant memory and you will long for these days again and you’ll be so pleased that you get to relive them through this book. What’s more, when you order your childhood record book, you can choose to exclude the younger pages and your book will start from age 8, so no empty pages, yay!
